Oracle Education Foundation’s ThinkQuest Wins Two Prestigious Awards

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. - The Oracle Education Foundation announced that its ThinkQuest program has received two prestigious education awards:

The Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) presented ThinkQuest with the “Golden Lamp Award for Technology,” lauding its outstanding delivery of educational content through the use of electronic media.

The Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) honored the ThinkQuest Library with a CODiE Award for “Best Education Reference or Search Service,” praising ThinkQuest’s achievement and vision in software, education technology, and digital content.
ThinkQuest, sponsored by the Oracle Education Foundation, challenges students worldwide to create educational websites that are published in the ThinkQuest Library, a resource visited by 30 million web learners each year.
Students who participate in ThinkQuest develop vital 21st century learning skills, including teamwork, critical thinking, project management, problem solving, and technology skills, while creating their educational websites.
