WorkingPerson.com and Wolverine invite online votes; finalists include a DoD Truck Driver, a Tower Climber, a Naval Engineer, a Wildland Fireman and a Mother of Five

Who has the toughest job in America? Is it Mike, a young railroad conductor? Or Matthew, a wildland firefighter? Or Candice, driving heavy-trucks in Iraq? Or Diana, a stay-at-home mother of five? Or is it James, who climbs 1,000 foot TV towers? These are five of the finalists whose stories are now posted at the WorkingPerson.com web site. The winner of the Toughest Jobs event will be picked by popular vote. Ten voters will be chosen at random to receive a pair of Wolverine Boots.

“From construction sites to coal mines; from EMTs to wait staff, we recognize and honor the people doing the work that keeps America running,” said Eric Deniger, CEO of Working Person’s Store. “We’ve picked ten finalists from the entries that came in from all over the country and posted them at the WorkingPerson.com web site. Now we’re inviting our visitors to come to the site read our finalists stories, and vote their choice for the person doing the “Toughest Job” in America.”

The winner of the “Toughest Jobs” competition will be featured in a future Working Person Store catalog and receive a “work wear makeover” valued at over $1,000 courtesy of Wolverine Boots Shoes Apparel and Gear, the co-sponsor of the event.
