Colossal Development Systems (CDS, Inc) has since it’s inception been led by Jack Funderburk as President with the current goal building businesses online. The company has been marketing offline since 1996 and has been involved in a number of successful ventures. An alliance for online marketing has been established with Platinum 7, an internet marketing company and was consummated in late April, 2008.

CDS entered the internet arena in early 2008 after researching the most viable direct marketing businesses. The company’s mission of building businesses online has taken precedence since the market research has been completed. Funderburk has had a passion for encouraging others to start their own businesses since starting the company in ’96 but he says, “Since I’m one of those technologically challenged people I took my time pursuing the internet but that just gave me more time to learn and be better prepared now that I have started. We were searching for an online business that we could simply plug into and begin generating an additional stream of income so we would not need to reinvent the proverbial wheel”.

The company decided to move into the world of building businesses online as print advertising increased, travel expenses increased, and personal, high quality sales people continued to dissipate. Funderburk had a clear criteria as he searched for an internet business, “We wanted to establish an online business that is solid, with enormous potential but that still requires a personal touch. Our criteria dictated that it would be self sustaining after the initial time and money investment, require a relatively small advertising budget, utilize our current publishing assets and attract high quality leaders”.
