Cancun, Mexico Becomes the Home for sanjuanbrothas 2008

Celebrating its eighth year of fun in the sun, the annual sanjuanbrothas festival will bring its brand of soul to Cancun, Mexico for one of the hippest, hottest, and most exciting Memorial Day Weekend getaways for African American and Latino gay men.

The sanjuanbrothas, or SJB Cancun 2008, will occur from May 22nd through May 27th. During the course of these five days, the attendees will have an opportunity to experience Mexico’s calling card. Cancun embodies Caribbean splendor and the exotic joys of Mexico, but it is also a modern mega-resort location. “We will always have a fond appreciation for the glorious island of Puerto Rico and we are thankful to everyone who has supported us for the past seven years" says Biff Warren, CMO, Flying Cow Marketing & Media. “We are, however, very excited about the idea of building a long term and rewarding relationship with Mexico and Melia.”

Sanjuanbrothas is part of a growing number of African American and Latin targeted events that take place throughout the U.S. There are currently 33 Black Prides and other specialty events that are attracting huge numbers from this dynamic community. “We are just as excited about 2008 as were in 1999,” says Michael Caywood, sanjuanbrothas CMO. “Cancun remains Mexico’s calling card to the world, perfectly showcasing both the country’s natural beauty and its rich history. We are pleased that sanjuanbrothas can have this experience"
