AOL Hosts the 6th Annual Super Sunday Ad Poll, Verizon to Sponsor


FanHouse Blogs, Polls, Exclusive Columns and Photo Galleries Round Out Super Bowl XLII Coverage

Dulles, VA . - AOL today announced it will once again feature the popular Super Sunday Ad Poll as a key component of its Super Bowl coverage. The gallery, sponsored by Verizon, lets fans watch, rank and share their favorite Super Bowl commercials at AOL Sports, In addition to the gallery, AOL Sports will feature exclusive columns, quizzes, interactive forums, photo galleries and FanHouse bloggers on-site in Phoenix.

This year, Verizon is sponsoring the AOL Super Sunday Ad Poll. Verizon’s breakthrough FiOS TV and FiOS Internet will be featured throughout the customized site in the company’s signature black and red colors.

The 6th Annual Super Sunday Ad Poll,, will let fans watch each commercial, comment on and rate their favorite ads. The ad poll will begin shortly after kick-off and will run for a week. New this year, users can rank their favorites instead of just voting for one, so the top rated commercials may change over the course of the week. AOL will show the list of the top 10 as currently ranked by users. Fans will also be able to comment on each commercial right on the site.

FanHouse will also announce the winner of the Second Annual FanHouse awards that look at the season’s highlights and lowlights.

Columnists: AOL will feature exclusive columns by Ira Miller, Sean Jensen, Jim Armstrong and Kevin Blackstone, who will cover off-beat stories from Phoenix, report their views about the game and discuss key match-ups.
