Leading Provider of Image Processing Systems Selects Airespace WLAN to Improve Corporate Productivity Through Wireless Voice and Data Services

The Airespace WLAN system is being used to support both voice and data services to Genesis Microchip employees, as well as web access to guests visiting their San Jose, CA facility. With wireless LAN services, Genesis Microchip has increased overall productivity in their corporate environment and improved customer satisfaction through better communications with company employees.

The 4000 WLAN Switch also terminates VPN clients on wireless laptops, enabling users to roam throughout the Airespace WLAN in a secure fashion. With Airespace’s “Follow Me VPNs,” no re-authentication of VPN sessions is required (even when traversing routed subnets), ensuring secure mobility that does not adversely affect the performance of real-time applications.
