Grammy Nominee Michael Stuart Stars in ’Homenajes’
NEW YORK, Sept. 22 -- Multitalented Salsa sonero Michael Stuart is producing and starring in a musical event titled “HOMENAJES” that will tour throughout the United States, South America, and Europe paying tribute to some of his favorite and legendary Salsa/Rumba performers of all time.
Michael Stuart, a current 2005 Latin Grammy Nominee for Best Tropical-Contemporary Album of the year(“Sin Miedo”) is currently in New York City where he is set to launch his Tour of “HOMENAJES” this Saturday, Sept. 24, at the world famous Copacabana in New York City. With several albums to his credit, this young Salsero has been praised by several highly regarded musicians as one of the most talented performers today and has earned his nickname of “El Mulato Rumbero”, by legendary Artist Eddie Palmieri.
“HOMENAJES”, a highly anticipated event will feature a 15 member orchestra accompanying Stuart while he belts out the greatest its of traditional salseros of the 1970’s as well as some of his own hits. “HOMENAJES”, will be making stops in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Miami, Las Vegas, and Chicago in the next few months. “HOMENAJES”, is being produced by Michael’s Production Company THE REAL THING Corp based in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he can be found when not performing all over the world.
The 2005 Latin Grammy’s can be seen live on November 3, 2005 on the Univision Television network worldwide.
