WEBWIRE

APOPKA, Fla. - Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has contributed $12,000 to the Red Cross agencies in Central Florida to assist the victims of the deadly tornadoes that devastated the area on Feb. 2, 2007. The tornadoes killed 21 people and damaged or destroyed more than 1,500 homes, buildings and churches in Lake, Seminole and Volusia counties. The contribution was raised by an employee fund drive at the company’s Laser Systems business unit in Apopka, Fla., with matching funds provided by the corporation.

“Our employees wanted to do something to help their neighbors. We are glad to be able to provide the Red Cross with funding to support the survivors of the terrible storms that hit this area a few weeks ago,” said Gregory Williams, general manager of the company’s Laser Systems business unit.
