Single Ticket Purchase Allows Access To Both Exciting Bruins Action & Live Post-Game Concert

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins have announced that tickets are now on-sale for a special live concert by rising country stars The Wreckers, following the team’s home game vs. the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the TD Banknorth Garden. The concert, presented by RE/MAX New England and WKLB Radio (102.5 FM), comes on the heels of The Wreckers’ debut album, “Stand Still, Look Pretty”, and the duo’s recent appearance at the NHL All-Star Game.
Tickets, priced as low as $10, are on sale now at the TD Banknorth Garden Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling (617) 931-2222 or online via www.BostonBruins.com. Additionally, high school and college students are eligible for half-priced tickets in select price ranges, by showing a valid student ID at the Garden Box Office. Limit one (1) ticket per valid ID.

“We strive to provide a memorable experience for all of our fans and our previous post-game concerts have been very well received,” said Amy Latimer, Boston Bruins Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “So, we’re pleased to be bringing The Wreckers to the Garden as we carry on the tradition of combining exciting Bruins hockey with great live music.”

Fronted by Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp, The Wreckers’ blend of country and pop with heartfelt harmonies has earned them a Grammy Award nomination for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group. The Wreckers have also been nominated in two different categories for the 2007 CMT Music Awards (April 16), country music’s only fan-voted awards show.

In 2004, Branch took a break from her successful solo career to team with friend and touring backup singer Harp to form The Wreckers. Previous to the Branch collaboration, Harp had been working as a singer/songwriter in Nashville, and those country music elements mixed with Branch’s pop sensibilities to form The Wreckers’ rootsy, harmony-rich sound.

This summer, the Wreckers will take to the road with Keith Urban on the highly anticipated “Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy World Tour,” playing 36 concerts in 33 cities beginning in Phoenix, Arizona on June 8th.
