New Management Team Announced For The Ant Farm
LOS ANGELES, CA -- Mike Greenfeld and Barbara Glazer, co-chairs of The Ant Farm, one of the entertainment industry’s leading advertising firms, have announced a new management team. Rodd Perry, Amanda Edwards, and Andy Solomon have been elevated to co-presidents, creative directors, audio/visual. Perry will also take on the title of Chief Executive Officer, joining Chief Financial Officer Melissa Palazzo, who will also assume the role of Chief Operating Officer. Together Perry and Palazzo will manage day-to-day operations and corporate duties of the agency.
According to Greenfeld and Glazer, Perry, Solomon and Edwards, who have been with the firm for ten, eight and six years, respectively, have been key to the growth of the company from a small boutique to a full-service advertising powerhouse.
Together at Ant Farm they have worked on hundreds of motion picture marketing campaigns ranging from “The Lord of the Rings,” “Shrek,” the “Harry Potter” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchises, to many independent successes such as “Sideways” and “An Inconvenient Truth.” Along with Greenfeld and Glazer, they will continue to help expand the scope of advertising services to the entertainment community.
Palazzo, who has been with the firm since 2005, has gained the trust of both management and employees, says Greenfeld. She was formerly senior vice president of finance at Ketchum Public Relations and director of finance and strategy at USA Networks.
In a related move, Julian Hills has been elevated to the post of president of The Ant Farm print division which he has successfully built over the last seven years, while Cindy Hauser will assume the title of executive creative director, continuing to work on an array of her own projects, such as broadcast, home entertainment, Microsoft Games and Disney Theme Parks. “Both executives have been extremely important to the diversification of the company and will continue to be key members of our management team,” said Greenfeld.
“Every creative agency needs to be shaken up,” said Glazer. “Mike and I are very excited that the team members are home-grown and people who understand our chemistry. We look forward to their vision as we continue to innovate our creative services in this extremely volatile entertainment market.”
The Ant Farm is the winner of innumerable industry accolades including Golden Trailer Awards, Key Art Awards, Tellys and Promax/BDA Gold Awards.
