Neil Young Tribute Concert Debuts in Northridge California

January 14, 2007

In Concert this coming Saturday January 20, 2007 at Harper’s in Northridge will be The Neil Deal, performing their award winning Tribute to Neil Young at 11pm. The band does an uncanny impersonation of Neil Young & his group Crazy Horse that landed them nominations for the past three years & top honors as Tribute Band of The Year 2005 by Rock City Magazine. The band performs all of Neil Young’s most popular solo work, songs with Crosby, Stills & Nash including some of his more controversial songs including Ohio & After The Garden from Neil’s latest Living With War CD. It was on this CD that Neil Young became one of the first to spotliget Ohio Senator Barack Obama to the center of the national political stage in Neil Young’s 2005 song “Looking For A Leader.”

The Neil Deal has one CD out currently “Live in Hollywood” and is working on a forthcoming studio CD. The group features Dennis Neil’s amazing interpretation of Neil Young backed by a top group of studio musicians.

The band has performed for corporate audiences, private events, clubs & did two shows in Las Vegas’ Fremont Street this past summer to overwhelming crowds.
This is the group’s first performance in the San Fernando Valley this year. The Saturday concert set starts at 9:30pm and is followed by the band Burning Skye.
