October 31, 2006 -- (Toronto, ON) – CHUM Television announced today that “Canada’s Next Top Model” will return for Cycle 2 with Jay Manuel (“America’s Next Top Model”, “Style Her Famous”) as Host/Executive Producer. The hugely popular Canadian reality series, based on the phenomenally successful “America’s Next Top Model” franchise, will hit the airwaves on Citytv in the spring of 2007.

The eight-part series will return to air on Citytv in the spring of 2007 and will provide dramatic twists and turns as participants compete to master the skills that are essential in the profession. The aspiring models will live together as they learn the ins-and-outs of the fashion industry from leading fashion experts.

Each one-hour episode is built around an important aspect of the modelling profession. Participants must demonstrate both inner and outer beauty as they learn to master the catwalk, fashion photo shoots and deal with the glare of the media, all under the watchful eye of surveillance cameras that chronicle every move. One cast member will be eliminated each week and the last model standing will win the coveted title of “Canada’s Next Top Model”.
