About the Author                                                                   
 
Braswell D. Deen Jr. is the son of a former US congressman. He is also a WWII US Marine veteran and was awarded a Purple Heart. He has served as chief judge in the Georgia Court of Appeals and in the Georgia legislature, authoring and allowing passage of the Georgia Women Juror Bill in 1953. He has authored four books, coauthored a fifth book, composed lyrics of seven published songs, and has written six poems relating to science.
