“The book is filled with rich stories about not only her extensive collaborations with Peggy Lee, but MANY other amazing artists. It’s a tribute to Stella’s hard work and artistry that she was in such demand for so long!”

Musician and author, Stella Castellucci, recently republished her book, Diving Deep for Sea Shells, in July 2015, with LitFire Publishing.

This is not your conventional biography,” says Vincent P. Degiorgio, a reviewer from Amazon. In the book, she shares her exciting life as a musician and as a friend of the popular American jazz singer, Peggy Lee. She appeared on many of Lee’s albums, such as Dream Street, Jump for Joy, Black Coffee, Songs In An Intimate Style and many more.

Readers, especially jazz music fans, will learn the story behind the making of these recordings. Other artists that Castellucci has worked with are the musicians:  Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra.

Another review on Amazon by Rob McEntarffer said, “The book is filled with rich stories about not only her extensive collaborations with Peggy Lee, but MANY other amazing artists. It’s a tribute to Stella’s hard work and artistry that she was in such demand for so long!”

Diving Deep for Sea Shells is a tribute to her career and to every person who made a mark in her life. Readers of the book will also discover what the album Sea Shells truly means.
