Students may earn up to 35,000 SkyMiles with Collegiate Funding Services Private Loans

ATLANTA, Sept. 14, 2006 – Delta Air Lines announced a new alliance that enables SkyMiles members to earn miles for education loans through Collegiate Funding Services (CFS). CFS is now part of Chase Education Finance, the student lending business of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

For a limited time, SkyMiles members will be awarded one mile per dollar for Private Education Loans for tuition, books, computers and other living expenses. Both undergraduate and graduate students with proof of enrollment may borrow up to $35,000 annually through CFS’ Private Education Loan. Details are available at www.delta.ed-loans.com/private.

“We are proud to offer SkyMiles members and their families the opportunity to earn award travel while furthering their academic goals through our partnership with CFS,” said Jeff Robertson, managing director of the SkyMiles program. “While hitting the books, students can think about using their SkyMiles to fly home or for a spring break trip to exciting destinations, such as Vail, Acapulco and London.”

CFS Private Education Loan benefits* include:

* Competitive interest rates and terms, as well as manageable monthly payments
* CFS Private Loans are unsecured, so borrowers and their families are not tying up home equity and 401(k) funds
* The application and approval process is fast and easy, and payments can be deferred until after graduation

Members may log on to www.delta.ed-loans.com/private or call 1-866-533-0370 for additional information. Miles will be earned on the original amount disbursed for Private Education Loans for undergraduate, graduate or continuing education when issued through CFS’ private loan programs.

CFS, a leading education finance company, joined Chase Education Finance earlier this year, creating a major provider of every type of student loan that works with schools and directly with students and their parents to achieve their educational goals.
