Freund Insurance Agency Launches Charity Drive to Provide Educational Scholarships to At-Risk Youth in the New York Area

The Freund Insurance Agency, a locally owned insurance provider that serves Long Island, Manhattan, and the surrounding communities, is initiating a charity drive in cooperation with the Children’s Scholarship Fund in an effort to provide opportunities for low income children in the New York to break the cycle of poverty by receiving a proper education.
 
To bridge the economic gap between public and private education, the Children’s Scholarship Fund works to empower families by granting the financial resources necessary for their child to attend a private institution where their scholastic abilities are allowed to bloom. “The reality is that there are too many low income children who are simply unable to receive a proper education, and the Children’s Scholarship Fund is working to change that,” explains Jeff Freund, owner and principal of Freund Insurance Agency. “There are too many bright minds going to waste, too many children never granted educational opportunities, and this charity drive will help change that.”
 
In addition to assisting the Children’s Scholarship Fund in their ongoing mission to ensure bright children of all income levels are able to benefit from a complete education, Freund Insurance Agency has assisted a number of other New York charities over the past year, and plans to assist at least one new local charity every sixty days from here forward.
