BURLINGAME, Calif. -- June 4, 2015 -- Chartcube, the all-in-one application for presenting, sharing and collaborating around on mobile, today announced the launch of iOS and Web versions of its solution, making it possible for anyone to aid in the decision-making process, across any device. With the mission of shortening a timely, tedious process to a quick tap of a finger, Chartcube’s solution allows for informed and fact-based business decisions to involve an entire team with ease. Headed by an ex-McKinsey alum who felt the need for this solution first-hand, the application enables users to upload spreadsheets and create visually appealing interactive charts within seconds, making data discussion and analysis surprisingly simple. Chartcube has expanded its offerings to support on-the-go workers by creating a Web and an iPhone version to enable the decision-making process easy from anywhere.

Chartcube helps users discover data insights by enabling them to ask questions and receive a response with the same ease as instant messaging applications. The app makes data analytics approachable and actionable, allowing anyone to be a part of the ever-growing data-driven decisions that teams face daily.

The iPhone and Web versions of Chartcube will allow users to upload Microsoft Excel sheets and CSV files via the desktop and supports spreadsheets from Dropbox, Box, GoogleDrive, OneDrive, iCloud, and more, via the mobile and tablet applications. Additionally, users are able to email spreadsheets, creating a Chartcube instantly in the process. Some additional features include:

  • Swipe and tap feature to drill down and slice and dice data
  • Instant creation of Calculated Fields, to easily view comparisons between two metrics
  • Headlines on selected charts when sharing with a team
  • Commenting and collaborating on data and engaging team members in the conversation

“In the several months since launching Chartcube for iPad, we’ve spoken with our users to really understand how they were collaborating around data and where the process was broken,” said Pankaj Tibrewal, Co-Founder and CEO of Chartcube, “What we found is that for teams to be able to collaborate, the application has to be available on all platforms including the web. Therefore, we have built the web and iPhone version and will be expanding to other platforms soon. The goal here is to democratize data driven decision making where anyone can review, share and discuss data on any platform to make decisions.”

Since the launch of its iPad app, Chartcube has seen tremendous interest as indicated by nearly a million views of the company’s YouTube video. The app has been used in a wide range of use-cases, including sales performance, retail metrics, marketing analytics, operations KPIs, executive dashboards and more.
