Freund Insurance Agency Inaugurates ‘Agents Of Change’ Charity Program in East Setauket, NY, and Debuts With a Campaign to Help Victims of Domestic Violence
Local charity program is launched by the Freund Insurance Agency in East Setauket, NY to seek active support from the agency’s network of customers and business partners in helping the community. Its first campaign will raise funds to help alleviate the cost of repairs and improvements to a shelter for victims of domestic violence.

The agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area, to nominate a new beneficiary every 60 days. The idea is to create a campaign to help the elected individual, family or programs with immediate support by bringing awareness to those very important causes.
To launch the program, Jeff Freund, the agency’s principal, has chosen to support the Suffolk County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (SCCADV), whose mission is to help prevent domestic violence by protecting, empowering and guiding victims and their families. Freund Insurance Agency’s current campaign will help raise funds for necessary repairs and improvements to SCCADV’s Safe Harbor Shelter, which provides a safe place for victims of domestic violence who have limited or no resources, and are experiencing abuse from the hands of a close partner or relative.
