Angie Hooten-Hughes Insurance and Nonprofit Mid-South Food Bank Initiate New Charity Campaign in Tennessee to Provide For Hungry People in Need

Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee  – With a new community program in the Memphis and Jackson area, Angie Hooten-Hughes Insurance has once again teamed up with the Mid-South Food Bank, and announced a new charity campaign to raise funds to support those facing food insecurity. Their mission is to fight hunger through the efficient collection and distribution of wholesome food, and through education and advocacy.  Donations to the Mid-South Food Bank can now be made through the campaign’s page at www.fundly.com/feeding-friends-in-mid-south.
 
Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Angie Hooten-Hughes Insurance marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 60 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive support.
 
“Hunger and food insecurity is a huge issue in our community.  With the holidays approaching, the food bank is in need of funds and food donations to keep the pantry fully stocked, and together with our clients, friends, staff and family, we can help,” said Angie Hooten-Hughes, the Agency’s principal.
 
The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 30-60 days, through its social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through a monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee, where the agency currently operates.
