NeoSleeve Now Joining With Worldwide Charity Habitat For Humanity
The new iPhone armband company has announced that it will be giving 10% of all profits to the charity Habitat For Humanity.
NeoSleeve, the new manufacturer of a running armband for iPhone 5, yesterday announced on their Facebook page that they will be donating 10% of company profits to the charity Habitat for Humanity.
The company states that the aim of this partnership is two-fold. First, they believe in building good Karma and giving back to the world. Second, they do, of course, expect that giving back in this way will also become a valuable incentive for people to purchase a NeoSleeve armband over that of their competitors.
NeoSleeve founder Ashford Thomas has donated to the charity on a number of occasions as an individual and holds the cause close to his heart. “Habitat for Humanity is doing amazing things for the world and I’m incredibly proud for NeoSleeve to be a part of that… This partnership has given the team here that extra drive to deliver great work, because we’re all now part of a bigger goal.”
Mr. Thomas also believes that more companies should take on this approach, particularly one’s that have the capacity to give. Whilst this belief is because it’s primarily the right thing to do, there is another side to the story: “The Universe works in a strange way. People think that they’ll give when they have the money to do so. I’ve found that to get, you have to give first.”
Habitat for Humanity is a global organization that was established in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller and is a popular choice amongst both businesses and individuals for charitable donations. The financial resources donated to Habitat for Humanity are used primarily in third-world countries, though funds can be directed to a cause of a donator’s own choosing.
