The Rezidor Hotel Group to assist with Typhoon Haiyan Relief
In recent weeks Typhoon Haiyan which left thousands dead, injured countless more, and caused extensive damage to the east coast of the Philippines. The worst damage occurred in Tacloban, which is about 100 miles north east of Cebu where we have two Carlson Rezidor hotels.
Amongst Rezidor’s 35,000 strong workforce 1,100 team members are from the Philippines. Throughout this recent tragedy, Rezidor wants to support employees’ family members and the whole country as one team.
Therefore the Rezidor Hotel Group is launching a fundraising campaign for the Red Cross Red Crescent to support the relief efforts.
The campaign starts on Monday November 18th and runs till 1st January 2014.
To start the fundraising Rezidor Hotel Group donated 10,000 EUR to the Red Cross.
