Arrow Machine Works Announces (3) Rare Machining Services. Large CNC Lathe (240" bed), Deep Gun Drilling (to 7") and Portable Boring (20’).

Portland, OR, USA - ARROW MACHINE WORKS has a waiting list of customers for the (3) hard-to-find machining services they provide.

Founded by Tony Drakos, Arrow Machine Works has been operating a very successful machine shop with a wide range of precision machining for over 45 years.

The L6 Large CNC Lathe is capable of turning lengths up to 240”.  It is a high tech computer controlled machine and can be programmed to do precision cutting by converting the digital signal into a desired action.  The design wanted is first created on specialized software, and then transferred to the required material.  The L6 CNC Lathe at Arrow Machine Works has a large capacity and a very long bed allowing them to manufacture extremely large parts. 

“This is one of the largest capacity CNC lathe’s in the Portland area”, said Alek Drakos, VP.

Arrow Machine Works provides DEEP GUN DRILLING in a range from .0625 to 7” diameter and can drill up to 20 feet.  Deep gun drilling was originally done for gun barrels but because of its high precision operations and its ability to hold location to precise tolerances and that it can be sized to exact specifications.

Arrow Machine Works also presents its PORTABLE BORING machining, which has a capacity of up to 20 feet.  The travel radius of Arrow Machine Works is from the Portland Metro area, along the NW coast, SW Washington, and the Salem metro area.
