Beirut, Lebanon - MasterCard and Aïshti, the leading luxury and fashion group in the Middle East, hosted the MasterCard Aïshti Fashion Experience for the fifth consecutive year. The eagerly awaited annual fashion and social extravaganza took place on 5th November in Beirut, and showcased the best of local and international fashion.

The 2013 edition featured a multi brand Aïshti fashion show for the Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collections from London, Paris, New York and Milan. After the last model had walked the catwalk, Aïshti owner and CEO Tony Salamé announced winners of raffle prizes from Aïshti, MasterCard, Bank Audi, Global Blue and Samsung. All guests were entered into a drawing for three Aïshti shopping vouchers worth $2,500 (provided by Global Blue and MasterCard), two Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phones and two Samsung Galaxy Gear watches. Additional gifts included two $2,500 Aïshti vouchers, exclusive to MasterCard and Bank Audi Aïshti cardholders.
“To highlight our commitment to the Lebanese market, including merchants and customers, we are really pleased to have partnered with Aïshti for the MasterCard Aïshti Fashion Experience for the fifth year running. To meet the evolving desires of the affluent segment from the material to the experiential, select MasterCard cardholders had the priceless opportunity to interact with their favorite celebrities at the event. Fashionable Lebanon is home to a multitude of contemporary designers, stylish celebrities, and unique shopping districts; making it an important market for MasterCard’s bespoke travel and fashion initiatives. Fashion is an integral aspect of the Lebanese persona, and in working with Aïshti we unveiled one of the most awaited fashion events for avant garde fashionistas in Lebanon and across the region,” said Basel Eltell, vice-president and regional manager, Levant, MasterCard Worldwide.
“We’re happy to see the relationship between Aïshti and MasterCard progressing, and we look forward to holding the MasterCard Aïshti Fashion Experience every year, no matter what.
