Google Understands the Need for Something More in Health and Healing; They are Not Alone

Chattanooga, TN, USA - On Wednesday, September 18, Google announced the launch of a new entity, Calico, aimed to improve the health of the world. This is much needed as the rates of chronic disease continue to rise despite the “best” technology.

People are coming to the realization that healthcare is not improving. We are sicker than ever. Kevin Trudeau has made millions promoting various remedies and is now facing a court order to pay a multi-million dollar fine for fraudulant work. Why would people spend millions and millions on unproven remedies? Many feel like there must be something more. Where is the truth?

Hopefully Calico will find the answers. Seeing this problem develop, Dr. James Marcum, in his  book, “The Ultimate Prescription,” has also proposed something new and innovative in healthcare, understanding the cause. “Two hundred and fifty years ago if you did not put leeches on a patient, you were considered a bad doctor,”  stated Dr. Marcum, a board certified cardiologist and director of Heartwise Ministries. “What will history look back and say about how we practice medicine today?” he added.

Dr. Marcum recently published a post, It’s Time for a New Course. Google, in creating Calico, must also feel the need for a new course of action. They are not alone, as evidenced by the money spent on unproven remedies and the millions and millions spent on alternative treatments. People are looking for truth in healthcare.

As the government searches for answers to the delivery of healthcare, and as Kevin Trudeau sits in detainment, Google is putting resources into the problem. Google is not alone.
