HBA Metro Linda DaSilva awarded Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association’s President’s Award

FAIRFIELD, NJ - January 15, 2013 -  The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association embodies its mission to further the advancement and impact of women in healthcare worldwide by providing actual leadership opportunities. Each year the HBA recognizes outstanding volunteers with several awards. This year, the  HBA Metro Chapter is pleased to announce that Linda DaSilva, director of business development at Priority Solutions International and director of conference platforms on the HBA  Global board was given this award due to her outstanding leadership for two flagship events, Woman of the Year and the HBA Leadership Conference. The financial implications of successfully running these two events are critical to the sustainable fiscal health of the HBA, and Linda led both teams to deliver highly successful, well received chapter events. She also created a strong knowledge transfer structure so that future teams learn from the experience from this year.

The President’s Award is given to an HBA leader who exemplifies effective leadership and dedication to the mission of the HBA and who has had a measurable impact on the HBA global organization, chapter operations, members and/or corporate partners. Linda DaSilva embodies these virtues and we are pleased to honor her and her achievements.
