Bridie Fanning Appointed Senior Vice President of Human Resources at NCR

July 14, 2006 - DAYTON, Ohio – NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) announced today that Bridie Fanning has been named senior vice president of the company’s Human Resources, effective Sept. 5.

Fanning, who will report to NCR President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Nuti, joins NCR from GE where she is vice president of Human Resources for GE Retail Consumer Finance, a leading provider of credit services to consumers.

Fanning succeeds Chris Wallace, who was named to the senior vice president post of NCR’s Worldwide Customer Services Division earlier this year.

Fanning joined GE in 1995, rising through the company in progressively more senior human resources positions, including planning and implementing comprehensive business integration plans in Central and Eastern Europe. She was named director of Human Resources for GE Capital Services in the Czech Republic in 1998 and appointed to lead GE Capital’s HR Excellence global initiative in 2000.

Prior to her GE experience, Fanning held a variety of human resources managerial positions at N&P Building Society, a U.K. nationwide consumer bank, and United Biscuits.

Fanning holds diplomas in management studies from Kingston University and human resource management from the University of Salford.
