Central Texas Chapter of the World Future Society Welcomes Strategic Patent Research Expert Steve Pearson

On Tuesday night, members of the Central Texas Chapter of the World Future Society welcomed strategic patent research expert Steve Pearson to their event at Marie Calendar’s Restaurant in Austin, TX. Over 20 people joined in as Pearson shared his experience in helping companies understand how to shift from tactical thinking towards strategic and long-term thinking.

Pearson covered how companies can leverage focused research and automated alerts to obtain timely information while reducing scanning time. This core idea drove the rest of his presentation, which progressed to helping members begin to understand how to increase innovation and protect their business model. Pearson shared how monitoring for disruptive, emerging and adjacent technologies both increase opportunities and minimize risks. By interconnecting relationships between technology, intellectual property and markets, Pearson helped audience members see how all 3 aspects have to work in conjunction and synergy in order to achieve positive, protected growth.
