Intransa Expands into Central and South America; Signs Value Added Physical Security Distributor ScanSource Latin America

CUPERTINO, CA – August 1, 2012 – Intransa, the physical security infrastructure and services company today announced a Latin America distribution partnership with ScanSource Latin America, and the expansion of its distribution channel into Central and Latin America. As a wholesale value added distributor specializing in technology products, ScanSource Latin America provides IP-based physical security sales and services to resellers in Central and Latin America and the Caribbean. 

The partnership will extend the reach of Intransa’s video-optimized open platform server and storage appliances into the region. Intransa’s video-optimized platforms are built for the unique demands of video security and are integrated with its security-oriented services portfolio for affordable and simplified local installations as well as for use in advanced cloud deployments.
