IgeaCare Solutions will officially launch its next generation unified nurse call communication solution (IC2) at the Mitel Business Partner Conference 2012 taking place June 19 to 21 in San Diego, California. The IC2 can run in the traditional igeacom mode and is backward compatible with all existing products. It also can be run utilizing its mesh network delivering advanced features such as: patient and asset positioning; access control; and staff management to name just a few.
Featuring enhanced positioning accuracy achieved through its unique ultrasonic technology, the IC2 is an improvement over other systems utilizing inaccurate methods of positioning such as: ineffective triangulation algorithms; Radio Frequency and Infra Red locating methodologies. The use of ultrasonic technology significantly reduces the “signal bleed” to which other methods fail, the result of this is that assets and personnel are identified in incorrect locations within a facility.

Voice-based event notification, event driven connectivity and facility-wide monitoring / positioning capabilities are three of the key features of the bundled Mitel and IgeaCare unified nurse-call communication solution. Using the solution, facilities can measure staff responsiveness and capture detailed patient reports to strengthen communication with residents and their family members.
