Global Search Engine Marketing book signing at Gulltaggen Norway next week

To mark the release of the new book Global Search Engine Marketing: Fine-Tuning Your International Search Results, co-author Kristjan Mar Hauksson will be signing copies as part of an event sponsored by the Digital Marketing conference Gulltaggen, which is set to be held next week in Oslo, Norway.

According to a recent review on searchenginewatch.com by Marshall Sponder, the book lays the foundation for a broad understanding of how online marketing operates in all the major regions of the world, as well as the special considerations one needs to take in each place.

Sponder continued to state that Global search engine marketing makes those reading it much more aware of how to intelligently employ local resources to a region in order to receive a serious presence in it.

In addition to the book signing, Kristjan Mar Hauksson will also be holding a seminar on streamlining marketing efforts to achieve successful campaigns at the event. During his seminar, ‘Campaign = Sell = Success – But please give credit where credit is due’, he will be explaining what it is that makes a multi-channel environment successful within a marketing campaign, and how marketers choose these channels. He will also be delving into attribution management, and the influences each marketing channel has on success in order to budget accordingly.

Kristjan Mar Hauksson is the Founder and Director of Search & Online Communications at Nordic eMarketing. The company specializes in multilingual online communications, organic search engine optimization and marketing for numerous verticals such as tourism, finance, government, and pharmaceuticals.

He is also on the board of directors for the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO), and is the founder of the Iceland SEO/SEM forum.
Gulltaggen will be taking place in Norway’s capital city, Oslo, between 24th and 26th April 2012.
