Microsys Joins the Concept Group of Companies

Graz, Austria & Toronto Canada, 21 February 2012

Concept Tech GmbH of Graz Austria is thrilled to announce that it has acquired Microsys Technologies Inc., the global leading supplier of airbag test systems, based in Toronto, Canada. The combined entity further enhances Concept’s leadership position in the automotive safety test market while providing an enhanced platform for the growth and diversification of Concept’s business globally.

The combination of Microsys and Concept products will provide the market with a fully integrated safety test solution for impactor testing and airbag testing. This will allow customers to increase their level of productivity while improving the quality of their test data. It also means that customers can deal with the team of Concept & Microsys to provide a complete safety test labs solution.

Concept and Microsys are anticipating quickly uniting their global sales and supporting channel, which will make it easier than ever before for customers in the Americas and Asia to benefit from Concept’s market leading test equipment technologies. The Microsys customer base in Europe will also have improved access to local support resources out of the new Concept office in Augsburg Germany.
