New Facebook Page Examines Diet Industry Myths
With obesity rates climbing ever higher, a new Facebook page will analyze why the diet industry is failing and propose some alternative weight management techniques.

Mark Dixon in an interview said: "Many people don’t realize that Facebook has overtaken Google in terms of the amount of traffic that is generated in the U.S. This milestone actually occurred in March 2010 and so it makes good sense for us to establish a presence on Facebook in addition to producing quality content for our established websites and blogs.”
He went on to explain that despite all the millions of dollars being spent on diet products the problem of obesity in many developed countries was getting worse not better. He commented: "A recent report submitted to the UK Government suggested that obesity was now as big a problem as smoking. Unfortunately, the diet industry propagates the myth that you can achieve significant weight loss doing little more than taking pills and yet this is seldom the case. In my research into different weight control programs I have become increasingly interested in the concept of intermittent fasting. In my own experience I have found that combining intermittent fasting with controlled resistance training is a highly effective method of losing stubborn body fat.
