A Message To All Presidential Candidates - Government Should Not Be Involved In Ordering Or Legislating Vaccinations For Children Or Adults

People should be told the facts, the potential benefits vs. the potential risks, and be allowed to make their own decisions.

(Tampa, FL) - Some of the Republican candidates for President are pushing back hard against candidate Rick Perry’s 2007 executive order as Governor of Texas mandating the vaccination of all young girls before they enter sixth grade against cervical cancer. During Monday night’s Republican Presidential Debate in Tampa, Congressman Ron Paul, also from Texas, and Congresswoman Michele Bachman of Minnesota, strongly opposed what Governor Perry did through his executive order.

Here is how Governor Perry responded to those attacks about his order. “If I had it to do over again, I would have done it differently. I would have gone to the legislature, worked with them, but what was driving me was obviously making a difference about young people’s lives. Cervical cancer is a horrible way to die and I happen to think that what we were trying to do was to clearly send a message that we’re going to give moms and dads the opportunity to make that decision with parental opt-out.”

Representative Bachman, who is the mother of three children, responded to Governor Perry that she believes to have “innocent little 12-year-old girls be forced to have a government injection through an executive order is just flat out wrong. That should never be done.”

Living Fuel Founder & CEO KC Craichy agrees. “No government should tell anyone they have to be vaccinated. All vaccines have dangers and parents should understand those dangers before they determine the best thing to do for their children. It should be the parents’ choice, not the government’s demand.”

Craichy has warned about the dangers of vaccines for years through his books, articles, LivingFuelTV, and Health Alerts and has consistently pointed viewers to the many scientific studies that have demonstrated those dangers. Sherri Tenpenny, D.O., author of Saying No To Vaccines, wrote, “I really can’t recall a single person who has truly investigated vaccine science and examined what is in the vaccines and then has chosen to continue to vaccinate. Vaccines cause harm. The risks are substantial and evidence is growing. The long term risks outweigh the short term benefit of eliminating childhood diseases that were Rights of Passage only a few years ago.” (http://drtenpenny.com) Neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D., recently quoted from a 30-year medical study of adults that showed flu vaccines did not reduce hospitalizations or death at all. “From all of the other vaccines during flu seasons we’ve found there is virtually little or no protection whatsoever, but many of these vaccines are heavily contaminated.” (http://www.russellblaylockmd.com/).

“We know that many of the people who support vaccinations are well-intentioned, trying to do good,” Craichy said, “but forcing children, or anyone, to be vaccinated with medications that are potentially harmful and even lethal to their health is not doing anyone any good. I know vaccination is a sacred cow for many people, however, people need to understand that immunization is a wonderful concept but only if vaccination really accomplishes immunity and there is significant evidence to the contrary. Even if vaccines really worked as intended it would still be prudent to weigh the risks against benefits before being vaccinated.”

Craichy believes it’s important that people should be fully informed about the potential risks of vaccinations versus the potential benefit. Here are some of the risks listed on the government’s own Centers For Disease Control and Prevention website about the HPV-Gardasil vaccine: severe allergic reaction, death, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, blood clots, pain, redness, swelling, fever, headache, nausea, fainting, injury to the head and body caused by falling after fainting, jerking movements, vision changes, and ringing in the ears.
