Photographer Helping To Raise Funds For Rescue Dogs

Experienced Portrait Photographer Will Polley, who set up www.familyportraitsmansfield.co.uk recently to showcase Polley Photography’s events, is taking part in this year’s Jerry Green Dog Rescue annual summer fund raising event at their Blidworth centre in Nottinghamshire.

This will be the first year Polley Photography has attended the show and is hoping to generate some additional revenue for the centre by taking lots of pet portraits of visitors and of course the prize winners in each of the different class of dog shows. All portraits are charged a fee, of which 20% will be donated to Jerry Green Dog Rescue.

As this annual event gets more popular each summer, we can hope that more funding will be raised for such a worthwhile cause. This year’s event takes place on Sunday 21 August 2011 from 11am running through to 5pm.

Polley Photography hopes most of the pet owners attending will have a picture printed on site then and there. They can then take a great portrait away, of their family pet and make a contribution to the centre for their rescue dogs.

There is fun for all the family, with open dog shows, stalls and raffles taking place. “It’s going to be a fantastic day,” says Will Polley, owner of Polley Photography Pinxton. “And we’re hoping this year’s event will attract more than the 300 or so visitors it got last year.”
