EasySecured technology offers a hack proof solution for password vulnerability faced by websites

Mumbai, India - June, 8 2011 - EasySecured Software claims it has developed a password less authentication technology that will make password hacking obsolete and irrelevant.

If implemented by websites, they will no longer require storing passwords on their servers and thus prevent hackers from accessing user information that is encrypted and stored on their servers. This patent pending authentication and data encryption technology also does not require users to define or remember passwords and thus remove a major pain faced by online users.

The company has recently won international awards such as Red Herring Global 100 and FICCI/DST Lockheed Martin 2011 for its innovative technology.

According to Mr. Gurudatt Shenoy - CEO, ESS Ltd., “Most of the hacking of passwords happens because websites store passwords either in plaintext form or in an encrypted form that can be reversed even if the encryption is very strong”.

He further adds, “Our competitors have tried and failed to deliver solutions to protect passwords all these years. We have on the onset worked on a disruptive concept of doing away with passwords completely”

Currently, the company is working on two types of solutions. One for the general online user and the other for enterprises. The products are undergoing patenting filing in India, US and other countries and once this process is completed, the company plans to launch its latest products.

What EasySecured offers is a patent pending device based authentication that converts any device owned by the user such as their cellphone into a security device and that in turn is used to encrypt information before it is stored on servers. So long as users protect their device from un-authorized access, they can be assured that no one can access or hack their online accounts.

EasySecured Software & Services, a corporate entity established in March 2011 is managed by a team of technology and finance professionals. The company is fast expanding and working on products for the consumer and enterprise segments. It is also exploring partnership with existing security solution vendors in licensing its technology for enhancing the security of their existing products.
