Atlanta - Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR) intends to use the Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance from Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC) for engineering, marketing, and business intelligence, Teradata announced today.

The new Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance will enable a new level of reporting and analytic capability. It will improve response time of existing workloads comprised of a high number of complex and tactical queries, and satisfy the need to connect and integrate with both operational and business intelligence applications.

The Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance will operate with two Charter software vendors of choice: Informatica for data integration and MicroStrategy for integrated reporting, analysis, and monitoring.
