Maria Baldwin founded Our Local Foods in 2009 on the 100 acre Thornhill Farm in McClellanville, SC. The farm is certified organic by the USDA, and is producing organic vegetables and Farm Fresh Eggs. Kitchen Table Cuisine is the food delivery service of Our Local Foods. Maria Baldwin was also instrumental in the founding of Adaptive Gardens of the Lowcountry, a non-profit whose mission is to enrich the lives of people with disabilities by promoting healthy living, social bonding, and vocational and recreational pursuits through horticultural activities on Thornhill Farm. Prior to Our Local Foods, Maria has been involved in the food service and farming business, including previous positions with Marriott, and the California School Garden Network.
