The Family Groove Releases Love In The Time of Parenthood, Its February Issue
The Family Groove launched its 56th issue, titled Love In The Time of Parenthood, on Tuesday, February 1. Complete with 20 original, TFG-owned articles, the issue tackles the the concept of love, in all of its complex glory.
Says TFG Editor-in-Chief Jillian Swartz, “Love in the time of parenthood is a complicated notion, to say the least. There’s loving yourself, loving your kids, loving your mate, loving your job, loving your body, loving your friends, loving your life—and parenthood holds a big ol’ mirror up to all of the above, forcing you to nix the riff-raff and focus in on what’s real.”
The issue’s love-related theme tackles topics like how to green your Valentine’s Day, how to navigate a pre- and post-baby sex life, how to love your body, all-natural solutions for sexy skin, romantic fashions, the latest on birth control, learning to love yourself and more.
“From a Valentine’s Day-themed dinner party for two to a review of cold-weather hot spots to a profile of a charity called The Kortney Rose Foundation, founded by a mother who lost her daughter to a brain tumor, this issue was created to help our readers remember that when it comes to a crazy little thing called parenthood, all you really need is love,” adds Swartz.
The site, which aims to help moms and dads find their own unique grooves with their lives, is also hosting a month-long giveaway during which people can enter to win a collection of CamelBak’s new Groove portable filtration system and filter refills for the whole family, valued at $150.
