Orange signs advertising and content partnership with MySpace in France

Paris, Orange Advertising Network will be the exclusive ad sales house for MySpace France
The partnership also includes content synergies between both websites


Orange and MySpace today announced a French advertising and content partnership to bring new audiences to both sites and to further develop the MySpace offer to advertisers.

On the advertising side, Orange Advertising Network – Europe’s largest ad network – will manage premium and performance advertising sales for MySpace in France, leveraging its strong and established relationships with advertisers and its innovative and creative approach. Orange Advertising Network, as the exclusive ad sales house for MySpace France, will manage all aspects of MySpace advertising, liaising directly with clients and agencies.

With a goal of enhancing their entertainment offers for the 15-24 year old segment, the two partners are also bringing together their extensive and complementary portal and social network expertise to offer the most extensive range of music content for young internet users. Orange will be in charge of managing synergies between the two sites and coordinating their content. Orange will organize content promotion and leverage
its range of music offers such as the “Musique Mix” and “Musique Collection” options, music channels on Orange TV featuring numerous concert videos, special events like Jam Sessions from established or up-and-coming artists performing live, and the Orange Rockcorps volunteer program. There will be promotional crossover that highlights relevant editorial content to users on both sites.

Lastly, the partnership will give Orange an exclusive French license for MySpace trademarks and logos for Orange online and offline communication, sponsorship and events.
