Renowned Chef To Host A Cooking Demonstration At Macy’s At Lenox Square Mall

WHAT:

Join Chef Tyler Florence as he demonstrates some of his own secrets to simplifying summer cooking at Macy’s in Lenox Square Mall. Tyler will reveal his tried-and-true summer shortcuts including recipes for Sole Almondine, Lemon Smashed Potatoes and Parmesan Roasted Green Beans. When the cooking’s complete, customers will enjoy sampling the delicious results!

Following the event, Tyler will be available to meet customers and sign copies of his latest cookbooks, Stirring the Pot and Dinner at My Place, which will be available for purchase the day of the event.
WHO:

Tyler Florence is a chef, author and 12-year veteran of the Food Network including his signature series, Tyler’s Ultimate. Florence has written five cookbooks: Tyler Florence’s Real Kitchen, Eat This Book, Tyler’s Ultimate, Stirring the Pot and Dinner at My Place. An honors graduate of the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University, Florence was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2004 and also established a scholarship in his name. In 2008, he opened his first kitchen retail store, The Tyler Florence Shop, in Mill Valley, CA, just outside San Francisco with an outpost at the San Francisco International Airport. In 2009, after two years of development, Tyler launched his signature line of steel clad cookware and titanium cutlery. Tyler’s first signature restaurant, The Wayfare Tavern, recently opened in San Francisco. Florence is opening two more restaurants this year and releasing his latest cookbook in the fall.
