(WESTFIELD, IN) — Spill 911 is excited to introduce our full line of Oil Containment Booms. Booms are your best weapons to fight outdoor petroleum-based spills on land, water and even in the rain. Oil Containment Booms are made from 100% post-industrial recycled materials.

These booms are made with a strong, mesh outer sleeve that encases a poly sock skin filled with highly-sorbent polypropylene. The filler won’t shed and the booms won’t sink, even when saturated with oil. A polypropylene filler repels water and floats while only absorbing oils and other hydrocarbons. The booms also feature durable, easy-to-use connectors that provide a simple and efficient way to link booms together and create a containment system big enough to handle almost any size of spill on water. Oil containment booms are available in a 4-pack (8“ Dia. x 10’ L), a 2-pack (8” Dia. x 20’ L), a 4-pack (5“ Dia. x 10’ L) or a 2-pack (5” Dia x 20’ L).
