EDS Signs Business Transformation Agreement with Delta Dental of California

Agreement Will Help Delta Dental of California Achieve Cost Savings and Growth Objectives

20 Mar 2006, PLANO, Texas and SAN FRANCISCO – EDS today announced an agreement with Delta Dental of California, one of the nation’s largest dental health plans, to implement EDS’ MetaVance Administration and Finance System and support the company’s enterprise transformation. Financial details were not disclosed.

This agreement will allow Delta Dental of California and its affiliates in 16 states plus the District of Columbia to increase operational efficiencies, focus on growth opportunities, reduce costs and ultimately improve service to its more than 21 million enrollees. Delta Dental of California represents EDS’ largest MetaVance client in terms of covered lives and its first dental-specific payer.

In addition to implementing the MetaVance solution, EDS will work with Delta Dental of California to standardize its business processes and supporting IT systems.
