Highland Products Group Appoints Sheldon Cohen as Director of Programming and Technology

Boca Raton - February 17, 2010 Highland Products Group, a leading ecommerce provider of commercial site furnishings, today announced that veteran technology executive, Sheldon Cohen has joined the company as Director of Programming and Technology. He will oversee and be responsible for all information systems activities within the company.

Sheldon has long been a respected member of the Florida IT community. With industry experience in banking, ecommerce, health care, Sheldon brings vast experience with enterprise, large scale and mobile technology to Highland Products Group. Most recently he had been Director of IT for Florida based health care IT company PassportMD.

Sheldon has been an active member of several South Florida based .Net Code User Groups as well as the founder and organizer of South Florida based community with over 129 active members which is a member of INETA North America.

With the addition of Cohen to the Highland Products Group management team, the company can leverage years of information technology experience to implement a robust overhaul and upgrade of Highlands’ information systems.
