TBN Launches High Definition Channel on AT&T’s U-Verse TV Service
2010-01-15 -- WDC Media News -- LOS ANGELES — Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world’s largest religious broadcaster and America’s most watched and requested faith channel, has announced the launch of its high-definition network, TBN-HD, on AT&T’s U-verse TV service.
“Because high-definition is the future of television, we committed from the start to make sure TBN stays ahead of the curve in this crucial broadcast technology,” said Paul Crouch Jr., TBN’s Chief of Staff. “Our state-of-the-art high-definition studio in Costa Mesa, California was a first for inspirational broadcasters. In addition to TBN’s flagship program Praise the Lord, a host of other popular programs are featured on TBN-HD, including The 700 Club, a daily program of news, information, and inspirational interviews; Travel the Road , an edge-of-your-seat reality show that takes you to exotic locations around the world; Drive Thru History, a fast-paced program shot in the locations where monumental history was made; and Hour of Power, the popular church service originating from world-renowned Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California.
