Premiere of JibJab’s "Second Term!" on Yahoo! Coincides with the Presidential Inauguration

SANTA MONICA, CA -- January 18, 2005 -- Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO), a leading global Internet company, today announced that it will exclusively debut JibJab Media’s latest animated short, “Second Term,” on January 18, 2005 at 9 PM PST/12 AM EST, just prior to the U.S. presidential inauguration.

Formed in 1999 by Gregg and Evan Spiridellis, JibJab gained widespread notoriety for its election year shorts “This Land” and “Good to be in DC,” which featured George W. Bush and John Kerry during the 2004 Presidential campaign and were viewed online more than 80 million times. Developed in the same spirit as “This Land,” “Second Term” is set to the classic folk tune “She’ll Be Coming ’Round the Mountain” and features President Bush, conservatives, liberals, Hollywood activists and world leaders duking it out for power and influence.

Jim Moloshok, Yahoo!’s senior vice president for entertainment and content relationships, said, “We’re thrilled to be working with JibJab, the first online-only entertainment brand born on the Internet. It’s Yahoo!’s goal to work with savvy content producers like Gregg and Evan in bringing the next generation of entertainment content to our worldwide audience.”

“Yahoo! is a great partner for us,” said JibJab co-founders Gregg and Evan Spiridellis. “Their massive global reach will help us extend our brand to the broadest and most diverse audience possible. In addition, we get excellent promotional support to help drive traffic to our latest video.”

In December 2004, JibJab and Yahoo! announced an online distribution agreement that gave Yahoo! the exclusive rights to distribute JibJab’s two most recent animated videos. The first, a musical video starring JibJab’s Grumpy Santa, launched in December 2004.

This adds to Yahoo!’s growing content library, including a ground breaking interactive site based on Mark Burnett’s television hit, “The Apprentice.” The JibJab deal takes another step toward solidifying Yahoo!’s position as the leading provider of online entertainment.

“When we first launched ’This Land’ in 2004 our servers melted down,” said the JibJab brothers. “We understand how frustrating that can be to our viewers so we’ve partnered with the biggest and best in the business to help scale our technology and expand our audience even further so we can focus on keeping JibJab a rollicking good time.”

“Second Term” may be seen for free by online users by going to Yahoo! and searching for “JibJab,” by going to Yahoo! Movies (http://movies.yahoo.com) or www.JibJab.com beginning at 9PM Pacific Standard Time on January 18, 2005.
