Veteran Molecular Filtration Engineer Joins Team at UltraViolet Devices

Dr. Ashish Mathur brings his expertise in molecular filtration to continue UVDI and Sparks Technology™ calculated growth strategies.

UltraViolet Devices, Inc. (UVDI), a leading provider of advanced filtration products, recently announced the addition of another expert to their lineup of seasoned industry professionals. As UVDI’s new Senior Molecular Filtration Applications Engineer, Ashish Mathur, Ph.D., officially began his leadership role last week.

Dr. Mathur brings over 22 years of industry experience to UVDI. He received his doctorate and master’s degrees in fiber and polymer sciences from Cornell University. His most recent position before joining UVDI was Vice President of Research and Technology for Ahlstrom Filtration, a global division of the Ahlstrom Corporation.

In his new role, Dr. Mathur will utilize his extensive filtration expertise to develop and commercialize advanced filtration products and processes for UVDI and its Sparks Technology Brand. He will also be involved with research and testing as well as providing technical support for customers.
