Viettel, Alcatel Lucent and RIM Introduce BlackBerry Bold Smartphone in Vietnam

Hanoi, Vietnam - Viettel, Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) are pleased to launch the new BlackBerry® Bold™ smartphone in Vietnam.

Powered by a 624-MHz processor, the BlackBerry Bold smartphone supports tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world and comes with integrated GPS and Wi-Fi®. Featuring a lustrous black exterior, satin chrome finished frame and stylish leatherette backplate, the BlackBerry Bold smartphone is a symbol of accomplishment and aspiration.
