WEBWIRE

Todobebé www.todobebe.com and the March of Dimes www.marchofdimes.com, both leading organizations dedicated to educating parents to help promote healthy families, announced today the renewal of their cross-promotion, multimedia partnership to improve education and care for Hispanic mothers across the country. Following its successful launch last year, the March of Dimes has extended their partnership with Todobebé for 2009 to include celebrity PSAs, video links and promotion of consumer events.

To kick off the renewed relationship, Todobebé produced a special March for Babies® PSA starring Viva la Familia de Todobebé TV co-host, world-famous actress and mother of two, Aracely Arambula http://mi.todobebe.com/aracely-arambula. This partnership also includes the March of Dimes participation in Todobebé’s annual Viva la Familia Fiesta, as well as digital efforts that create live links from their daily blog, blog.nacersano.org, to the video channel on Todobebe.com http://todobebe.com/videos/1/video/87f4ebf29238c.

“This extended partnership with Todobebé provides the March of Dimes with an even wider reach for our Spanish-language educational messages,” said Dr. Jennifer L. Howse, President of the March of Dimes. “It uses an influential media personality and gives us the chance to help more Spanish-speaking moms have stronger, healthier babies.”

Todobebé is also demonstrating its commitment to supporting key March of Dimes initiatives through its multimedia platforms, including the March for Babies event and National Prematurity Month. The March of Dimes will also cross promote Todobebé’s unique properties and content at national Hispanic conventions, such as the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) www.lulac.org and the National Council of La Raza www.nlci.org.

“Our ongoing partnership with the March of Dimes continues to forge the types of relationships Todobebé seeks to create with academic, public health and advocacy organizations to share information of pressing health, mental health and safety issues,” said Cynthia Nelson, Todobebé’s Chief Operating Officer http://www.linkedin.com/in/cynthianelson .

In 2008, this partnership reached more than 170,000 Hispanic families in homes across the nation through Todobebé’s Viva la Familia www.fiesta.todobebe.com event and far exceeded expectations in creating greater awareness and participation from mothers across the country.
