TANDBERG Television wins US MPEG-4 HDTV order for $5m

Oslo, Norway, 3rd February 2006 - TANDBERG Television (TAT.OL) today announced that it has received a further order from a leading digital television service provider in the United States, valued in excess of US$5m. The contract will see TANDBERG Television deliver MPEG-4 AVC HD compression systems in the first half of 2006 in support of that customer’s deployment of High Definition programming.
