“What’s a nice business like yours doing on the Internet?”
“National payroll processors association bringing Internet veteran to Las Vegas conference for answers; weighing the “B2B” threats and opportunities online.”
When the leading trade association for independent payroll service bureaus convenes in Las Vegas next week, they’re taking on some of the biggest sales and marketing issues facing companies today, including: “Where are things headed online?”, and, “What’s the right Internet strategy for our business?”
To answer these questions the Independent Payroll Providers Association (IPPA) is assembling a team of experts, including Stephen Antisdel, Managing Director of AVID Commerce, a fast growing Internet strategy and marketing consultancy based in Michigan. His Internet marketing focused workshop will review and explain the key variables that contribute to creating and maintaining a competitive advantage in the online channel.
Cheryl Whelan, Associate Executive Director of the association said, “The IPPA is very excited to bring Stephen Antisdel to Las Vegas to speak to the attendees of the 2009 Sales & Marketing Workshop. As a respected and recognized force in the payroll industry, the IPPA is constantly looking for speakers to assist their members in staying current on trends in the market place, and Stephen’s presentation on online marketing and strategy will do just that!”
Antisdel’s background includes serving as a founder and CEO of a successful Internet company. Subsequent to selling the business to a venture capital firm, he was a co-founder of AVID Commerce and is an adjunct professor at Indiana Tech. His Internet marketing workshop caps the IPPA convention on Friday afternoon, March 6.
A leading nationwide trade association made up of privately held companies whose primary function is the preparation of payroll and payroll taxes for employers of all sizes. The IPPA’s broad base of independent service bureaus, both large and small, is dedicated to offering the best client service and the most advanced technology. IPPA’s members pride themselves on a proven track record of providing competitive payroll and HR solutions for today’s marketplace. Together, the IPPA members make a powerful, collective team representing billions in annual tax deposits paying millions of employees. With current proposed federal and state regulating legislation, IPPA has been focused to author and amend proposed legislation and ensure the growth of payroll bureaus, versus their extinction.
